  LEDs have long life and high reliability, amongst its advantages, but the LED head lamp life is limited due to the fact that LED PCB and LED driver modules poor quality, and current electronic industry level cannot achieve 0 defect target, so we have got lots of warranty parts in markets.Additionally the cost of LED head lamp is much higher than Halogen head lamp,even more than ten times, all of these LED head lamp quality issues will lead to higher warranty costs.However, the design solutions of current LED head lamp are based on non-replaced light resources, not only LED light resource but also LED driver modules cannot be replaced separately, and these parts are the top contributors of LED head lamp poor quality.To address this issue, the author studied halogen head lamp design solution, to design LED PCB and LED driver modules as replaced parts, also taking into consideration the serviceability in 4S dealers as well.After the implementation of the suggested concept design listed as above, even if the PPM value have not been impacted, definitely the change in warranty field will be much cheaper.As a result, the warranty spends will be reduced several times, about ten times could be the target.
