Aim: Rho-kinase has been.suggested as a therapeutic target in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.The Rho kinase signaling pathway is substantially involved in vascular contraction.The aim of this study was to evaluate the vasorelaxant effects of Rho kinase inhibitor, 5-Nitro-1(2)H-indazole-3-carbonitrile (DL0805), in isolated rat mesenteric artery rings and to investigate its possible mechanisms.
