Wheat plants with dwarf symptom were collected from Baoding and preserved in greenhouse.The virus was transmitted to maize by vector Laodelphax striatellus, which appeared dwarfed with white tumors along the veins on the abaxial leaf surfaces, the typical symptom of maize rough dwarf disease.Viral double-stranded RNAs were isolated and the complete genomic sequences were determined,about a total of 29, 142 base pairs (bp).
