  Heavy metals and organic compound pollution is one of the more common phenomenon in many industrial wastewater.It makes the wastewater composition becomes more complicated so that new technology required to treat the complex wastewater.In this study,a strain called CP-3 was obtained by separation and purifying from sludge contaminated by integrated heavy metals and organic pollutants.It has good ability to remove Cd2+ and Pb2+ from the wastewater including phenol.The results of morphology test together with 16SrDNA genetical sequence analysis indicated that the strain CP-3 belonged to the branch of Stenotrophomonas acidaminiphila with a similarity which was higher than 99%.Some factors such as pH,temperature,initial concentration of phenol,Cd2+ and Pb2+ and reaction time had been discussed in this paper.It is showed that under the condition of pH,temperature and reaction time of 6,35℃ and 24h respectively,the removal rate of Cd2+ and Pb2+ could obtain about 45.1%and 92.1%with initial phenol,Cd2+ and Pb2+ of 50mg/L,lower than 20mg/L and 100mg/L respectively.Moreover,even if the initial phenol concentration is higher than 200mg/L,the strain CP-3 can still survive and remove about 75%and 25%of Pb2+ and Cd2+ from the wastewater.
