文艺发生论、文艺思维方式、文艺功用论以及性情论、地域文艺论等,是与谶纬文献密切相关的文艺理论。尽管这些文艺思想在两汉及之前的某些文献中,或有程度不同的表述,但谶纬的述说,是在天人感应的思想框架下展开的,因此,它不仅特色鲜明,而且由于两汉(尤其西汉中后期至汉末)经、谶纠结的思想环境,对于汉代文艺观念演进的强大影响力,恐怕是今人难以想象的。
