　　Background: Postoperative pain is a common consequence of most surgeries.Despite increased basic and clinical research have been done,optimal postsurgical therapy still remains a challenge for physicians.Our recent study demonstrated that up-regulation of chemokine CXCL12 in dorsal root ganglia(DRG)and spinal cord dorsal horn contributes to the development and maintenance of neuropathic pain.
