Autophagy has been implicated in both anti-viral and pro-viral capacities in the life cycles of a broad range of viruses(1).As autophagy involves dynamic and complicated processes(2),it is still unclear how autophagy machinery affects the early steps of the virus infection. In this study,we found that the influenza virus,a pathogen that poses sever public health threat worldwide, could trigger transient accumulation of autophagosomes in MDCK cells early during infection,as well as promote the movement of autophagosomes.
