Aim: Previous studies showed that analgesic-antitumor peptide (AGAP) has analgesic activities tested. In this study, the effects of AGAP on ion channels including VGSC, VGCC and VGPC were investigated in acutely isolated rat DRG neurons. Methods: Whole-cell patch-clamping was used to record the voltage-gated Na+ currents, voltage-gated Ca2+ currents and voltage-gated K+ currents in acutely isolated rat small DRG neurons.
