This article gives a brief description of the buccal object projection rules to help determine the direction of X-ray projection when using only one X-ray film. clark first reported in 1909 buccal object rule (buccal Object rule, referred to as BOR). Richards further elaborated this law in 1953 and 1980, and called it the clark law, the unchanged lingual side, the opposite buccal side (SLOB law) and the Walton projection. When the horizontal angle of X-ray projection (projection direction) is changed, on the X-ray film, the direction of the X-ray projection can be judged according to the change of the image position of the buccal-lingual object. Such as X-ray centerline horizontal angle is a straight line
