Brief Introduction of Project Changheba Hydropower Station is located at the upper reaches of Dadu River in Kangding County of Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province. It is the 10th level for the development of hydropower cascades in Dadu River. The dam dam site is 2.5km downstream of Jintang River Estuary in Kangding County of Ganzi Prefecture, with 55880km2 of control basin. It is a large-scale reservoir power station based on single generation without any requirement of comprehensive utilization such as shipping, floating wood, flood control and irrigation.
