利用传输矩阵理论,研究了含负折射率材料一维光子晶体异质结构的吸收特性。发现光子晶体异质结构某些带隙内出现单向吸收峰。结果表明异质结构带隙内单向吸收峰的频率范围由构成异质结构的两个光子晶体各自的能带结构决定。另外发现异质结构在带隙单向吸收带内的吸收普遍高于其在通带内的吸收。该研究结果可用于制造单向吸收光学器件和提高光子晶体对光波的吸收。
Using the transfer matrix theory, the absorption characteristics of one-dimensional photonic crystal heterostructures containing negative refractive index materials are studied. It is found that there are unidirectional absorption peaks in some bandgaps of photonic crystal heterostructures. The results show that the frequency range of unidirectional absorption peaks in the band gap of the heterostructures is determined by the respective band structures of the two photonic crystals that constitute the heterostructure. In addition, it is found that the absorption of heterostructures in the bandgap unidirectional absorption band is generally higher than that in the bandpass absorption band. The results of this study can be used to make unidirectional absorption optics and to increase the absorption of light waves by photonic crystals.
