思茅松又叫白松、卡锡松、学名Pinus khasya。在世界上分布于印度东部、缅甸、泰国、老挝等国。我国以阿墨江、把边江、澜沧江中、下游及南定河一带为中心分布区。从行政区划来看,就是我省思茅、临沧地区的思茅、景东、镇沅、景谷、普洱、墨江、云县、临沧等县。属于南亚热带和准热带的湿润、半湿润地区。垂直分布带为六百至一千二百米地段。
