在要求很高的石油化工行业管道焊接应用场合,熔化极气体保护电弧焊(GMAW)广泛应用于金属焊接。在这些场合中,除了在一种材料两面进行的焊接外,其他场合均采用留隙焊根焊接。通过采用先进的电源技术,可以在没有铜衬垫的情况下进行外部焊接。介绍了一种提高管道环焊质量和效率的新焊接工艺,简称“Wise Root+”。焊接试验结果表明,这种新焊接工艺对改善电弧稳定性、控制飞溅、熔透成形和焊接速度均具有积极作用,获得了光滑、均匀的根部焊道以及完全焊透和侧面熔合效果。焊接速度是钨极惰性气体保护焊(GTAW)的3~4倍。
In highly demanding pipe welding applications in the petrochemical industry, GMAW is widely used in metal welding. In these cases, except for the welding on one side of the material, the other is to use a blanket root weld. With advanced power technology, external soldering can be done without a copper pad. A new welding process to improve the quality and efficiency of pipeline ring welding is introduced, referred to as “Wise Root + ”. The results of the welding tests show that this new welding process has a positive effect on improving arc stability, controlling spatter, penetration molding and welding speed, achieving a smooth, uniform root pass with complete penetration and side fusion. Welding speed is 3 to 4 times that of tungsten inert gas welding (GTAW).
