The synthesis of cadmium reagents and some of their derivatives and their applications in trace chemical analysis have been reported. In the past, single nonionic surfactants (Triton X-100, OP, Tween-80, etc.) were used as sensitizing solubilizers. We chose to mix surfactants to further enhance the chelate sensitivity and reduce the amount of reference solution Absorbance. In this paper, the suitable conditions for the formation of chelates of 4,4’-bis (azobenzene) diazaminobenzene with Cd (Ⅱ) were studied. The results show that the reagents and Cd (Ⅱ) produce orange-red chelates in the presence of anionic and non-ionic mixed surfactants (Triton X-100 and SDBS) in pH 9.2 Na_2B_4O_7-
