麦积山石窟作为我国著名的石窟寺之一,素以精美的雕塑、绚丽的壁画、险峻的崖阁和优美的文化景观而享誉海内外,是甘肃省重要的旅游景点和对外宣传的展示窗口。二零零二年十月,作为麦积山石窟重要组成部分的瑞应寺修缮工程顺利完工并通过验收,为更好地向国内外游客,特别是向远道而来、无法登临栈道的老弱病残参观者展示、宣传和介绍麦积山石窟的历史沿革,以及在文物保护、研究、管理等方面所取得的成绩,麦积山石窟艺术研究所自筹资金近一百万元,在瑞应寺内建造展馆。经过设计人员、施工人员和全所职工的共同努力,展馆建造、布展工作如期完成。二零零七年九月十八日,“麦积山石窟历史沿革陈列展”正式对外开展。
As one of the famous cave temple in China, Maijishan Grottoes is famous for its exquisite sculptures, magnificent murals, steep cliffs and beautiful cultural landscapes. It is an important window for tourist attractions and publicity in Gansu Province . In October 2002, the renovation project of Ruiying Temple, an important part of the Maijishan Grottoes, was successfully completed and passed the inspection. In order to better serve the tourists at home and abroad, especially from afar, the old and weak Sick visitors showcased, publicized and introduced the historical evolution of the Maijishan Grottoes and the achievements they have made in the protection, research and management of cultural relics. The Maiji Mountain Grottoes Art Research Institute has raised nearly $ 1 million in self-financing. Should be built within the temple hall. Through the joint efforts of designers, constructors and workers, the pavilion construction and layout work will be completed on schedule. September 18, 2007, “Maiji Mountain Grottoes Exhibition History Exhibition” was officially launched.
