Hi everyone, I am very happy to be able to attend this forum. Here I would like to thank Professor Ma Huijuan, North for his kind invitation. In this speech, I will mainly introduce Canada’s translation practice, translation studies and translation teaching. Let me first introduce the basic situation in Canada. Canada is a federation of ten provinces and three territories. With vast territory and similar land area, China has a much smaller population than China, with a population ratio of about 1:40 to China.
