5月17～26日,水利部水文局水情处、通信处、水文监测处及珠江委水文局有关人员组成的检查组,由部水文局副局长孙继昌率领,到广西、广东、海南等省(自治区)检查指导水文工作。检查组就各水文单位贯彻落实全国水文工作会议和全国水情工作会议的情况。以及汛前水文预报工作、水文信息化建设、水文通讯等情况进行了检查指导。检查组分别听取了珠江委和广西、广东、海南等省(自治区)水文部门的情况汇报;考察了广西青狮潭水库自动测报系统、柳州市洪水预警预报系统;检查了柳州、桂林、梧州、肇庆等水文分局及珠江委水文水资源勘测中心、南渡江水文勘测队的水文工作并深入柳州、贵港、梧州、高要、三水、马口、龙塘、加积、万宁等基层水文测站检查汛前准备工作;冒雨与马口站水文测工
