作为“想象的未来”展览的策展人,苏磊眼中的未来馆,是一个在全球网络化生态环境中的互动文化概念,它借助云技术将不同的关系(本土的区域特色、社会、城市、个体等),融合进一个具有开放性的空间之中,却并未将未来局限在“互联网”的技术性概念里。苏磊认为,“虚拟”与“现实”的对立只是一种旧有的二元关系。而由互联网和资本的互动所引发出的社会关系重组,才是未来艺术发展的潜在动因——内核冰冷躁动,外表粘稠、暧昧且富于诱惑力——这种已在当下初现端倪的文化景观,也暗示着“第三方”的价值所在。简单来说,“第三方”是旧有的二元对立关系在彼此不断接近的过程中,被重新塑造出的、现实与虚拟的连体存在方式。
