常州林业机械厂在戚墅堰机车车辆厂直流流动粒子炉的基础上,试制成功一台三相交流流动粒子炉。它的工作原理同直流流动粒子炉,即气体经送风装置进入风室,通过透气砖、耐热砂进入炉膛,炉内的加热介质——石墨粒子与气体形成均匀的混合物,在炉内沸腾。石墨粒子既是导电体又是发热体,在流动过程中他们互相碰撞,在与电极接触中构成回路,产生极大的接触电阻,石墨粒子被加热至高温,直至炉温升高到所需要的温度。当工件放入炉膛后,便被均匀浮动的石墨粒子加热。
