On December 21, 2001, the German-Dutch “African Fox” Industrial Union received a contract value of 500 million euros ($ 440 million) from the German Army and the Royal Netherlands Army, under which the contract provides for the co-production of the two armies 612 “African fox” reconnaissance vehicles.
