Layered copper deposits or sandstone copper deposits, from the Precambrian to the New Tertiary era are widely distributed. The deposit is large in scale, sometimes up to a giant size, with a simple layered ore body, large extensions, a very high content of useful components and even distribution, making this copper sulphide mineralization a major industrial type. The cause of stratigraphic copper deposits has been debated for many years, both as a sedimentist and as a conclusive one.
