LD-OB steelmaking is a steel-making method that uses top-blowing oxygen and blowing gas into the stirring gas at the bottom of the furnace. It is a major new technology of contemporary oxygen converter steelmaking at home and abroad. The LD-OB steelmaking furnace shell strength analysis provides the theoretical basis for the development of converter equipment, shell design, safety and reliability assessment of equipment and finite life estimation.
