Google+,亦称Googleplus,是Google推出的社区服务系统,业界普遍认为它是Google在社交网络方面挑战Facebook的一项重要服务。Google+于2011年6月28日上线至今,一直被拿来与早夭的个人通信和协作工具Google Wave作比较。本文作者认为,用户对移动便利性的优先需求,追求更高的效率,以及对Facebook替代服务的渴求等都决定了Google+不会成为另一个Google Wave。
Google+, also known as Googleplus, is a community service system launched by Google. The industry generally believes it is an important Google service for Facebook to challenge social networks. Google+ was launched on June 28, 2011 and has been compared to Google Wave, the early personal communications and collaboration tool. The author of this paper believes that users’ priority needs for mobile convenience, the pursuit of greater efficiency, and the desire for alternative services for Facebook all determine that Google+ will not become another Google Wave.
