北京机械工程学会第二届热处理学术年会于三月二日至五日在京召开,会议围绕着热处理节能和提高产品质量等方面进行了交流,表明北京地区在热处理新设备研制和新技术的采用方面有了一定成绩。如铁道科学研究院金化所激光热处理的研究,北京工业大学金相热处理教研室真空油淬及真空气体渗碳的研究,内燃机总厂的质量管理在热处理上的应用等都取得了新的成果。此外,还有以下一些进展:
