Slovenia is the most developed economic and cultural republic in Yugoslavia, with an area of more than 20,000 square kilometers and a population of 1.93 million, divided into nine districts (cities) and 65 communes. The agricultural population only accounts for 15%. There is no difference between urban and rural areas. Per capita annual income is more than 2,500 US dollars.
