In the pricing of agricultural products, there are two kinds of interests of producers and consumers. The government is in the middle of the two and plays a decisive role. Most developing countries have implemented a low-cost food policy. The prices for the sales of agricultural products are beneficial to consumers and detrimental to the interests of producers and their enthusiasm for production. Scholars from various countries have done a lot of analysis and research, put forward a variety of explanations.
