In “A Dream of Red Mansions”, there are dignitaries, sons and daughters, as well as minor servants, village farmers, and different class characters in the book. There is a slight difference in style between them. In Hawkes’ version, the style and register ), And some language features are more translators to add their own, “nothing has ”. In this paper, we will analyze the linguistic features of the characters in Huo Yi Ben and try to explain why the translators should add those features, starting from “Children” and “Bottom Characters”. The discussion in this article helps to explain that “loyalty to the original” in translation studies does not have to be equal to what it is. In the translation master’s handwriting, the translation may be more realistic than the original in artistic and realistic effects.
