从不同角度分析观察了单片微机的发展现状,但主要是从发展规模及其性能方面进行了系统分析,并分项展望了其发展趋势。文中还结合性能给出了单片微机具体型号,最后进行了综合,指出了单片微机将沿着“改进工艺、降低功耗、提高速度、降低价格、提高性能、扩大用途”。的健康道路迅猛发展。文后还给出了当前我国应用较多的几种单片微机主要参数。单片微机自1976年由Intel公司推出MCS—43系列。仅有十年的历史,因其具有十分显著的性能价格比高,体积小,可靠性高等突出特点,而被逐步应用于国民经济各个方面,并收到良好的社会效益和经济效益,目前单片微机应用已进入热潮,黄金时代,是一个日新月异拓宽着的应用学科领域,并且有着雄厚的基础和众多的有利条件。其规模之大,性能价格比之高,应用范围之广都居微型计算机之冠。
