This paper summarizes the active faults of Taiwan Island and its relationship with earthquakes based on Landsat satellite images. In the satellite image, the active fracture is characterized by a clear image, multi-band, activity obvious. The north-north east active fault zone constitutes the basic outline of this area, most of which have left-lateral translational properties. Although the scale of active NW-trending north-west fault zone is not as large as the former one, it may be the latest active fault in the northern part of Taiwan Island and has the right-handed translational property. The comprehensive analysis shows that the area is generally under the compression of North, West, South-South East directions, that is, the collision between the Philippine Sea Plate and the Eurasian Plate.
