前言近年来,随着日本对电能需要量的增加,大型火力发电机组相继兴建,为了充分发挥这些机组的作用并保证安全供电已成为一个重要的任务,因此相应也要求所使用的锅炉钢管具有优良的性能。以前在日本的大型火力发电锅炉中只使用无缝钢管,几乎不使用电阻焊有缝钢管(以下简称ERW)。对于供应的钢管,总是要求价格低廉,使用期限长,以及使用性能良好。新日本钢铁公司在制造无缝钢管的同时也注意到国外在大型火力发电机组上正在积极使用电阻焊有缝钢管的情况,在君津钢铁厂建设了专门制造高级锅炉钢管(ERW 钢管)的设备。
