“Snow White” is a novel published by American writer Donald Barthelme in 1967, which was later described as one of the representative works of postmodernist novels. In this novel, the complete plots and harmonious human relations in Green’s fairy tale Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs are fragmented, which reflects the distance and distance between people in modern society. The purpose of this paper is to reveal the theme of indifference of human nature in novels by analyzing narrative strategies such as inner monologue, parody and collage in The Story of Snow White.
