Control of pesticide contamination in agricultural products and foodstuffs In 2004, RTG issued a national document on food safety in order to increase domestic output and the quality of exported products. By integrating all import and export facilities and agencies, a shelf food safety roadmap has been developed as a quality control measure for every aspect of food production. It is noteworthy that this document focuses on how to reduce and monitor pesticide residues in agricultural products and foods. Figure 2 summarizes the management rules to accommodate the “roadmap” plan. In the farm, pesticide use is established by the DOA
