半导体在現代科学技术上的惊人功續早已是人人皆知的了。它应用在热敏、光敏、各种自动控制、无綫电技术、……等等国民經济和科学研究的各个方面。甚至象宇宙火箭这样的尖端技术脫离半导体也是不可想象的。半导体在現代科学技术上起着革命性的作用。使原来工业上技术上不能实現的东西得以实現。但工业技术和科学研究对半导体材料的需求,也日益扩大。它不仅在量的方面,而且在貭的方面要求多种多样。这就給半导体化学提出了艰巨的任务。
The alarming success of semiconductors in modern science and technology has long been known. It is used in all aspects of national economy and scientific research such as thermal, light-sensitive, various automatic control, radio technology, ... and so on. Even cutting-edge technologies such as the space rocket are unimaginable from semiconductors. Semiconductors play a revolutionary role in modern science and technology. So that the original industrial can not achieve something technically achievable. However, the demand for semiconductor materials from industrial technologies and scientific research is also growing. It requires a great variety of things, not only in terms of quantity but also in terms of quality. This poses a daunting task for semiconductor chemistry.
