20年前,中国设立了第一批国家级经济技术开发区,18年前,小平同志在天津开发区挥毫题词“开发区大有希望”。今天,希望变成了现实,中国绝大多数国家级开发区在改革开放中创造的辉煌举世共睹。然而,近年来由于各地乱建开发区,一些针对开发区的议论也逐渐多了起来。其中最具代表性的一个看法是:开发区已经完成了历史使命,应该退出历史舞台了。
Twenty years ago, China established the first batch of state-level economic and technological development zones. Twenty-eight years ago, Comrade Xiaoping gave his inscription in “TEDA promising” in TEDA. Today, the hope has become a reality that the vast majority of China’s state-level development zones have made remarkable achievements in reform and opening up. However, in recent years, due to the indiscriminate construction of development zones all over the country, some discussions about the development zones have gradually increased. One of the most representative views is that the zone has completed its historic mission and should withdraw from the stage of history.
