一、問題的提出甲烷是一个比一氧化碳活性大得多的渗碳剂,达已是公认的事实。根据普拉文斯基的意見,其所以如此,乃因氧的有害影响被泊除,不然的話,氧会渗入铁內从而减低碳在奥氏体內的溶解度。可以相信,如果在气体混合物CO—CO_2中进行渗碳,則渗入铁內的氧是会阻碍碳的扩散的。金屬学与热处理界认为氧未必是使铁在CO—CO_2气体混合物內加碳速度較在CH—H_2中为低的唯一原因。但却不能对此問題作出解答[1]。
I. PROBLEM PROPOSITION Methane is a much larger carburizing agent than carbon monoxide, a well-established fact.
