Dear Betty，
I’m glad to have received your letter. Our holiday life has changed a lot. In the past， we had to study at home， doing much homework， which made our holiday bored①. Now， learning and relaxing still is② very important， but we also can③ do some other things. For example， we usually help our parents do housework and④ farm work. I think they are very important to help us to understand our parents. In addition to⑤， we take part in some social activities as volunteers to help others.
In short， the present holiday can bring us great fun and we can benefit a lot from it. I really like it very much.

1. 优点：
小作者对自己的假期生活作了详细的描述，交错运用了许多复杂句，层次分明、过渡自然、语句通顺。
2. 需要修改的地方：
①改为boring。形容某物应使用boring。
②改为are still。句子主语为learning and relaxing，谓语动词应用复数形式；另外still应放在系动词后，故应把still is改为are still。
③改为can also。also应放在情态动词之后，实意动词之前。
④改为or。“帮父母做家务或是在农场劳动”为选择关系，这里的连词应用or。
⑤删去to。介词to后面无宾语，所以这里应把to去掉。“in addition”意为“另外，此外”。
3. 评分：
按中考英语作文满分25分的标准，本文修改前可得22。

Our Holiday Life
