一、评审报告: 本届翻译竞赛是由日本巴贝尔公司和商务印书馆于1994年3月至8月在我国联合举办的。巴贝尔(Babel)公司是日本的一家以翻译为长期事业的文化机构(社长汤浅美代子现任日本翻译协会会长),下设有巴贝尔翻译外语学院、巴贝尔出版社,巴贝尔国际部,出版有《翻译世界》杂志等。举办日译中翻译竞赛的目的是为了培养翻译新人,推动翻译事业的发展,以促进日本与中国的出版文化交流。 这次翻译竞赛以我国北京,上海、天津和东北地区的十多所大学的日语专业高年级学生为评选对象,共收到上述地区大学的148名学生的参赛译文。其中女生107人,男生41人。参赛人数比上一届增加了约50人。
First, the review report: This year’s translation contest by Japan’s Babel Corporation and the Commercial Press in March 1994 to August in China jointly organized. Babel is a Japan-based cultural institution that translates into a long-term undertaking (President Tomiya Matsumi is currently the president of the Japanese Translation Association) and has Babel Translation Foreign Language Institute, Babel Press, Babel International , Published “Translation World” magazine. The purpose of holding a Japanese-Chinese translator contest is to train new translators and promote the development of the translation business, so as to promote the publishing and cultural exchanges between Japan and China. The translation contest took the Japanese-language seniors in over a dozen of universities in Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin and Northeast China as the objects of evaluation and received a total of 148 students from the above-mentioned regional universities. 107 girls and 41 boys. The number of participants increased by about 50 from the previous one.
