1.能力的定义能力,也称为胜任力,是指在特定的工作情景中或者某个岗位上取得优秀绩效的所有个性特征的集合,包括动机、态度、知识、技能等各个方面。能力的各个要素之间的相互关系可以用冰山模型来描述。其中,动机、态度等方面是位于水面以下的,也就是说这些方面是从表面上无法观测到的,而知识、技能等方面则是外显的,能够通过工作表现看出来。能力是区分优秀员工和一般员工的基础,也是产生高绩效的必要条件。2.能力与人力资源管理
