多年来,我省的品种科技创新工作取得了可喜成果,先后选育出玉米品种丹玉13、丹玉39、东单60,水稻品种盐丰47、辽星1号,番茄品种L402、合作90系列等各类农作物优良新品种,为我省农作物品种更新更换,保证农业增产增收做出了突出贡献。但随着国内外种子贸易的发展,品种竞争愈加激烈,特别是国外大批优质新品种涌入中国市场,给我省乃至全国种子产业带来巨大冲击,因此,加快品种科技创新,促进品种更新更换,对保证粮食安全至关重要。
