过去我校分配去农村小学工作的毕业生时常来信,反映农村里对于教师的社会工作能力和业务知识水平,都有一些特殊的要求,而他们原来在学校里学到的东西,还不能完全适应这些要求。针对这一情况,近两年来我们做了如下一些工作。一、深入农村,调查研究一九六二年春天,我们组织工作组深入到塘湾公社各小学去了解我校十二个毕业生的文化水平、教学能力、思想作风等方面的情况;今春又用书面调查的方式,了解了分配在泰县和泰州市郊区的六十名毕业生的情况。根据初步掌握的材料,进行分析研究,发现在这些学生中,有50%左右的人热情高,干劲足,工作比较出色。但在有些人中,还存在不少问题,概括起来是:①语文程度差,有些人还教别字、写错字,不会讲普通
