掌握一定的词汇量是熟练运用英语的前提条件,很多大学生在词汇记忆上花费的时间不少,但并没有取得理想的效果。笔者认为,这主要是由于他们在记忆过程中机械重复,没有把词汇进行归类整理,并进行深层次的语义加工,对词汇的中英文含义片面对等。本文从认知的角度,建议课堂教学中教学应渗透各种词汇学习策略,如原型理论,隐喻理论,联结机制,充分建立音形义的联结,提高记忆效率。
To master a certain amount of vocabulary is a prerequisite for proficient use of English. Many college students spend a lot of time in vocabulary learning, but they do not achieve the desired result. In my opinion, this is mainly due to the mechanical repetition in the process of memory, the lack of categorization of the words, the deep semantic processing, and the unanimity of the Chinese and English meanings of words. This article from the cognitive point of view, it is suggested that the teaching of classroom teaching should infiltrate a variety of vocabulary learning strategies, such as prototype theory, metaphor theory, linking mechanism, the full establishment of sound-shaped meaning of the link, improve memory efficiency.
