塑造普通士兵形象的影片《雷锋》、《董存瑞》,曾给多少观众留下了难忘的印象。但时至八十年代,我们在银幕上却很少看到主要反映普通士兵题材的影片。近几年我国拍摄的有关军事题材的影片,诸如《陆军见习官》、《道是无情却有情》《战争,让女人走开》等,塑造的军人形象大都是穿“四个兜”的,即使有也是一些通信员、警卫员等配角。军队的基础在士兵,他们也和部队干部一样,有着爱情与家庭、欢乐与痛苦、追求与忧伤,有着千姿百态,丰富生动的性格、形象和生活,他们的生活中感人可写的素材俯拾即是。在血与火的战场上,那冲锋陷阵的不多是普通的士兵吗?但这需要电影编导们去发现、挖掘和反映。
