近年来,滁州市科技局认真贯彻落实科学发展观,大力实施“科教兴滁”战略,全市科技工作呈现出欣欣向荣的发展态势。大力推进制造业信息化。滁州作为安徽省首个制造业信息化重点城市,由于精心组织实施信息化工程,目前拥有省级制造业信息化企业5家,市级制造业信息化试点企业33家。高新技术产业持续、健康发展。现拥有省级高新技术企业22家,省级高新技术产品12个,火炬计划项目12项,国家级重点高新技术企业1家。民营科技企业成为滁州经济发展的新“亮点”。2004年全市民营科技企业发展到267家,技工贸总收入达33.2亿元,利税3.5亿元,创汇3629万美元。天长秦栏镇省级民营科技企业示范区成为安徽省县域第一家民营科技企业示范区。着力培育特色农业。特色农业、品牌农业不断发展壮大,滁菊、定远猪、施集绿茶、明光绿豆、中华绒螯蟹等特色产品的开发,有力地带动了农副产品的生产、加工和销售。两年来争取到国家级农业科技项目3项,省级农业科技项目2项,项目资金达166万元。实施东向发展战略,积极融入长三角。滁州市科技局积极与南京市科技局、上海市静安区、崇明县科委建立科技合作关系,科技合作取得丰硕成果。2005年举办的“南京.滁州”科技合作洽谈会,滁宁两地有15个项目进行对接,现场签约3项,谱写了滁宁科技合作新篇章。
