新时期十年,军事题材电影的确有了突破性的进展。但需要引起我们注意的是,我们军事题材银幕上军事家的形象太少了。这不能不说是一种令人遗憾的欠缺。电影是艺术,从某种角度来说军事指挥也是艺术,两种艺术相结合可能会等于战争题材的影片。注重从军事的角度塑造军事家的形象,应该是值得我们重视的问题。法国影片《拿破仑在奥斯特里茨战役》中的拿破仑、美国影片《巴顿》中的巴顿,苏联影片《第一骑兵军》中的布琼尼,都是做为卓越的军事家形象出现在银幕上,从而震撼观众心灵的。翻开《解放军将帅录》,我们有那么多的元帅和将军,可新时期十年乃至于过去,我们的影片却没有表现或很少表现,既使有也不是做为军事家表现的。如《四渡赤水》写
