黄河万家寨水利枢纽工程1992年开始筹备,1993年批准立项,进入工程准备阶段。当时建设者们住窑洞、喝窑水,凿山辟路、登峰架线,不畏艰险、攻克难关,将两年的准备工期缩短为一年,实现了路通、电通、水通。1994年为实现主体工程开工,建设者们风餐露宿,夜以继日,战胜洪害,大干百天,全面完成三通一平、四大系统(砂石、拌合、缆机、供水)的前期准备工作。1995年建设者们抗严寒、斗风沙、战酷暑,使工程建设胜利通过了安全度凌汛、度大汛的两大难关,实现了年底截流成功。1996年主体工程建设全面展
Wanjiazhai Yellow River Water Control Project began preparations in 1992, 1993 approved the project, entered the project preparation stage. At that time, the builders lived in dwellings, dug kiln water, chiselled mountains and roads, set foot on the summit, defied hardships and difficulties and shortened the two-year preparation period to one year, thus realizing Lu Tong, Dentsu and Shuntong. In 1994, in order to start the construction of the main project, the builders took shelter overnight, overcoming the floods and over a hundred days of drought, completing the preparatory work for the three systems, one leveling and four systems (gravel, mixing, cable machine and water supply). In 1995, the builders resisted the cold, struggled with wind and sand and fought the heat of summer. The project construction victory passed the two major difficulties of flood safety and flood control in the year of construction, and achieved a success of river closure by the end of the year.
