2008年8月和9月,北京将迎来百年盛事,奥运会和残奥会届时将相继在这里隆重召开。这是奥运会和残奥会第一次在发展中国家举行,也是第一次在世界四大文明古国举办。它是对我国经济实力、政治稳定以及体育竞争力的综合检阅,也是中国人民展现自己的热情和实力的舞台。它更是残疾人向世人展现自强不息、顽强拼搏、奋发向上精神的绝佳平台。“超越、融合、共享”是北京残奥会理念,它昭示残疾人和健全人一样,都能平等地参与社会,都能奏响生命的强音,都能成为生活的强者。让我们共同分享奥林匹克的魅力与欢乐,我们同属一个世界,我们拥有同样的梦想。
August and September 2008, Beijing will usher in a hundred years event, the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games will be held here one after another. This is the first time that the Olympic and Paralympic Games are held in developing countries and the first time in the four ancient civilizations of the world. It is a comprehensive review of China’s economic strength, political stability and sports competitiveness. It is also a stage for the Chinese people to show their enthusiasm and strength. It is also a great platform for the handicapped to show the world the spirit of self-improvement, indomitable struggle and the spirit of making progress. “Beyond, integration, sharing ” is the concept of the Beijing Paralympic Games. It shows that people with disabilities, like sound people, can participate equally in society and can all play the strong voice of life and become strong people in life. Let us share the charm and joy of the Olympic Games. We belong to the same world. We share the same dream.
