英语教师身份认同映射了英语教师对自身、英语教学的看法和期望,是影响教师专业发展的关键。本研究以笔者对陕西南部汉中3所学校多名中学英语教师进行了为期5个月的问卷调查展开,并对3位教师进行访谈和课堂观察分析实证得出。通过研究发现英语教师的身份认同水平是促进其专业能力发展的重要路径。
English teacher identity reflects the English teachers’ own and English teaching views and expectations, which is the key to the professional development of teachers. In this study, we conducted a five-month questionnaire survey on a number of middle school English teachers in three schools in Hanzhong, southern Shaanxi, and conducted empirical surveys on the three teachers through interviews and classroom observation. Through the research, it is found that the identity of English teachers is an important way to promote the development of their professional abilities.
