I. 菲利普.罗斯rnAs one of the representative contemporary Jewish writers in America, Philip Roth (1933-2018) has created 31 works in his half-century writing career and has almost won every award of American literature. As a Jew, he seeks and considers his national identity through the demonstration of the living condition of Jewish people who live in America, which contributes to the everlasting theme in his novels-Rebellion. Through the process of analyzing the rebellious consciousness reflected in his novel In Trouble, we can explore the conflicts between individual identity and the social ethics.
