唐代碑刻以真书与隶书为正格。自沙门怀仁集王右军书圣教序以来,继之者僧大雅集右军书刻兴福寺碑。据《铁函斋书跋》云:“古今碑刻集右军书见诸载记者凡十八家。”集王书以外,如李北海等大书家相率以行草书碑,遂成碑刻之变格。惟终属少数,行草书碑视真书碑尚不足百一之比。今于传世碑刻拓本中拈出数种以举例说明集王右军书圣教序之影响。
