颌面间隙感染是面部及颌骨周围软组织中的间隙化脓性炎症,是基层医院常见的一种感染。过去常用切开引流治疗颌面部间隙感染,术后给病员留下永久性瘢痕。我们在文献的启示下,于1978年起用穿刺排脓局部注射抗菌素和单纯穿刺排脓的疗法代替手术切开引流治疗颌面间隙感染的常规疗法,治愈了31例颌面间隙化脓性感染的患者,疗效显著。现将初步总结报告如下:
Maxillofacial space infection is the purulent inflammation of the gap in the soft tissue around the face and jaw, is a common infection in primary hospitals.
